Can't figure out what the "documentName" is for? ...
It is not used for the rest extensions, it should work without adding it. The documentName is only used when adding nodes to the content tree.
If you can reproduce that it works, then please edit the wiki, I think this is propbably a copy & paste error.

If you only support 4.,6 it might be interesting to checkout the RestExtension attribute http://www.nibble.be/?p=95 No configuration needed.
