Originally we had an umbraco 4.0 website with its search in xslt. And then, we decided to upgrade it to 4.6 with its search functionality changed from xslt search to examine-lucene so that we can cater pdf searching. Now, after installing the umbraco examine build 57217 (with it is the umbraco examine pdf) the admin search stopped working. When back office user hit the search field it will not give off any search result instead it just displays a blank. I suspect that the dlls had something to do with it. It might be that some functions are obsolete in the umbracoexamine build 57217. Any ideas guys, any response is much appreciated? Thanks.

Fritz,
The index probably needs to be rebuilt you can use my package to rebuild http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/examine-index-admin before rebuild you may want to delete the internal index as it may be corrupted.

Ismail
Hi Ismail,
Although the I haven't solved this yet, the package helped me a lot to ensure I'm reindexing the right indexer
Thanks,
Fritz
