    Event Registration & Payments ?

I'm new to umbraco but I've had a good look on the forum and in projects for a solution and haven't come across anything yet - is there a solution for umbraco that allows users to create an Event which attendee's can register for and pay for?

I know it's all possible, but I've only got a couple of days to knock something up (which needs to be robust as it's handling payment data - unlikely in this time scale).

I know I can create an Event data type and store registrations pretty easily - but I'm wondering if there's already a solution out there which handles payments too? And has it all wrapped up in a nice extension.

Currently I'm looking at just using a third party like "constantcontact.com" to manage the events/payments and pulling in their RSS feed for events to the site.

    Cheers,

I haven't seen anything specfically for events (I've needed something my self) but "tea commerce" - an ecommerce package apears to be customisable enough that you may be able to use that for your payments?

    Hi guys,

Thank you for the help - I've also been looking at eCommerce solutions such as Tea and uWebShop - so rather than having 'tshirt; products they'll have 'meeting' products.

I think this could be a way forward as they've got all the payment gateway handling built in! (or using a third party Events provider).

Could these events sell out? If so look for a product that has stock control then they can automatically become unavailable when sold out (I'm not sure which one does)

    Cheers for the help guys.

I've ended up using both ConstantContact and EventBrite for different clients that require this functionality.

EventBrite is probably the better, since the API is more established.

Hopefully some handly little Event based packages coming to the Projects area soon!
