I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I am working on a member lookup functoin, and I'm wondering what is the best way to do it and was wondering if anyone had any advice.

My initial idea is to have a list of zip code ranges, when a user types in their zip code, any other members that fall in the same zip code range that the user falls into will display.

I'm wondering though if that is the best way to do it.
