I'd like to add a dashboard control.
This would appear as a tab within the document type.
It would summarise all the data and on click of certain summaries it would navigate to the correct tab of the document type to edit.
It would also summarise data in "sub-folders" ie which the current document was a parent of.
Of these 4 things I am clear how to do the first one.
Any suggestions please how to do next 3.
Hi John,
Your questions have raised more questions with me... ;-)
Not sure how the deep-linking to the edit content screen goes as far as selecing a tab... I'll look in to it. :-)
Cheers, Lee.
Quick one... does this package do what you want? Tabular Folder Browser
that does look remarkably close to what I was after
i'll see if i can learn what i need from the source of that (if it's available)
if you have this approach (an ascx data editor) how would you reference the current document (and any children) that you were editing?
also some method to navigate on click to the correct tab to make the change would be very nice
i'll try out this package though - it sounds as if this uses pretty much the same approach i was hoping to use from the description
thanks Lee you're a star :)
