    login in umbraco

    Extending Umbraco

    Hi,

    I have login user control in my website.

    I need some functionality like this...

    If the umbraco admins logins througt this then it should be able to login to the umbraco CMS...

    If users logins then they should be able to access the password protected pages in the website.....

    Also want to know how to make pages password protected...

    I really dont know how to work out this thing....

    Any kind of help is appriciated....

    Hi,

    Umbraco is based on the ASP.Net membership provider. So you can create the normal asp.net logincontrols, try these examples

    This will then work for members, Members are the users that can login on the Umbraco website for password protected pages.

    To protect a page in Umbraco you right click on the node that you want to protec. Then assign the groups you want to give access to the page
