    Where Umbraco keep a security sethings???

    Hi

    I use ver 3.0.6 and I want to deploy version from local to client server . I copy folders and restore database BUT funny things are happening,
    even if I define all security staff , public access on some page wehna i copy data base is seems that this security setting don't copied!!!

    what is a problem, all page is public even I defined groups which has access to some pages

    Are you talking about the settings for public access and restricted access? These settings are stored in the following file: /data/access.xml

    Be sure the node-id's in that file match with the node-id's in your clients database. This file is modified by umbraco if you restrict access. So if you did that on you local database and copied the file over the one from your client, it could be that the node-ids do not match and you change the security settings on total different pages...
