    Add section to umbraco

    Hello,

I've added a new section to the umbraco dashboard, but my treenodes won't load when i open the section.

I've added the node to load in the UmbracoAppTree table in the DB but it doesn't seem to change anything :(

in V3 i had no problem with it, do i have to load the tree items in an other way in V4?

    Hi jensdegeyter,

Find a nice tutorial on how to build custom sections in v4 at http://simm.dk/umbraco-corner/articles/making-custom-sections-and-trees-inside-umbraco---part-i.aspx

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    /Dirk

Did you also add your app to these two tables:
    umbracoApp
    umbracoUser2app
    ?

I have written an article about creating a section in v4 that you might want to check out:

yes, I did add the rows in the other 2 tables, a time ago in V3 I did the same thing with success, now in V4 I get a node with the text ERROR even when I follow the tutorial you wrote...
