Yes I guess so but, thats not really the point of a multilingual website where Admin needs to go in the one section after the other update the contents.
I have different names for my news section, my Dutch news section is called 'nieuws' and my English news section is called 'news'. Your solution seems elegant but I wonder how the system know which language to render?
This is my big concern here once i set the domain names, how will it render language if the folder containing the news section is outside both the en/fr domain names.
One other thing is when you will want to view the details of the Article, the Navigation will only pick the Top Level node.
Multilingual Website
Hi Guys,
I have a website with 2 different language and which might extend to 3-4 depending on the news of the client.
The website structure looks like this
Content
-- Default (EN)
---- Child Nodes
-- Default (FR)
---- Child Node
-- News (folder)
---- Article 1
---- Article 2
My question is when am in the news article section how can i get the right Navigation working since am on the same level as both default (EN & FR) ??
How will the Navigation know to choose the @nodeName to display either (EN/FR) nodes?
What is the right approach for this?
In my opinion I think it's best to work with a English News section and a French News section.

Anthony Candaele

Anthony,
So there is no other possbile way of having 1 news Folder in each version then.......??
In a way i guess thats just the way of doing it, else you news section will not be able to know to which domain name its inheriting.
