Is there any way to get the umbraco back office to save a document on a button event in a data type? The button sends an email and I just wanted to make sure the customer has saved all data before the email is sent.
Afaik, it's hardly possible at least in a reasonably simple way. Perhaps you can consider changing the whole approach - not to save a doc on sending an e-mail but contrary to send an e-mail on saving a doc? First of all it has native api support like event handlers etc and on the other hand it's more typical of CMS when the very content operations maintain processes than vice versa.
Back office save from custom data type
HI,
Is there any way to get the umbraco back office to save a document on a button event in a data type? The button sends an email and I just wanted to make sure the customer has saved all data before the email is sent.
Thanks again,
Matt
