    redirect to custom section after login

    Extending Umbraco

    Hi,

    By default, after logging in /umbraco (backend), the user sees the "Content" section.

    I'd like to be able to redirect a user (in my case user type "exampleEditor") to a custom section called "example".

    Is it possible to do it? How?

    I was told to check the umbraco events. I checked the Overview of all events but didn't see any event such as "AfterLogin" or so...

    Any ideas?

    Bump.

    Would like to know this as well.. feels like everything concering custom sections is not so well documented. And lots of stuff is outdated to the point that the advice no longer works.

    I guess nobody wants to waste too much time on documentation since Umb5 is coming soon.
