What version of Umbraco are you using? The Improved Media Picker was added into the core, I think in v4.5. So there is no reason to install the package (and it may not even work). So if you're 4.5+ I would suggest removing the package and trying again.
Well if you're using 4.0.4.1 you could try my old media picker. Tribal Yet Another Media Picker 4 can be used to replace the normal media picker (and also stores the media id as an int).
+1 to Jeroen's suggestion...but I don't think YAMP has a TinyMCE plugin that will help with your issue.
Is the live site an exact copy of the dev site? I can't remember how Improved Media Picker hooks into TinyMCE but have you maybe verified you've copied the tinyMceConfig.config exactly from your dev site?
Sorry I missed that it was in the TinyMCE editor. The Improved media picker is a simple rip of the TinyMCE media picker. It doesn't hook in TinyMCE or anything. It's just the same code twice. One for TinyMCE and one as a datatype. Not sure why it wouldn't work. Maybe you can try to upgrade your website to 4.0.4.2 or 4.5+?
Improved Media Picker - Not working on live site
I have insatlled the improved media picker from here, http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/improved-mediapicker (not sure what version, but it's been working in our site for a while).
I am it to add images from the TinyMCE Editor.
On the staging site, the picker loads correctly:
However, on the live site, it's loading a different dialog:
The code base is the same, and from what I can tell, the installed packages are also the same.
Cna any one suggest what I may need to do to get the Improved Media Picker working on my live site?
Thanks
Danny
Can any one help me one this one please?
Thanks
Danny

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your input.
Sadly, we are using 4.0.4.1, and can't upgrade as the client won't pay..
So, sadly, we are forced to use the package...
Any other ideas what I may be able to do?
Thanks
Danny

Thanks Jeroen,
I will try and give that a go. Hopefully it'll work.
Cheers
