    Adding multiple Styles to TinMCE

I Have an existing style sheet with a large quantity of styles already speced out. The things I have read in the forum tell me the basics on how to attach it to the editor.  However one step that is very redundant is where I have to go into the Style area, right click on the style sheet and create a new entry for every style listed in the sheet. Is there a way to do this automatically?

    Thanks,

    Ron

Hi. I don't think it's possible unfortunately since editor styles should be stored in both filesystem CSS file and database. However if you think that it will be worth of it then you can try to do something with database tables "cmsStylesheet" and "cmsStylesheetProperty" - they have quite simple structure.

    Hi Ron

how many styles are you thinking about adding to the RTE stylesheet? Mostly I find that the need is to allow 10-15 options from the dropdown at maximum, since the general styling in the site should take care of most of it.

So perhaps you could tell us a bit more about how much styling you intend to give people access to using the RTE field? Maybe you can cut some of it down to fewer rules?

    /Jan

I was thinking about a couple dozen styles. Is there a better way to give the users access to these styles without using the drop down?
