    Alternative Links problem.

I added manage hostname "/english" in "English" content, i set up this content for English Language Site.

Content "Link to Document" is working fine no problem, problem is with alternative links. Umbraco just added http:// +"HostName" + "link to Document" without main domain name so that I can't browse content link using alternative links.

    For example

    "Linke to Document" is /education.aspx

    Alternative links is http:///english/education.aspx

browser can not open http:///english/education.aspx page. Alternative link should be like http://localhost:9091/english/education.aspx to open.

    Any suggessions?

    thank you Very much

    Jivan

    Hi Jivan

Have you entered "/english" in the "Manage hostnames" dialogue in Umbraco? In that case you just need to remove "/".

thank you Jan for your time.

I tried by replacing "/" from manage hostnames. I also re-publish all nodes after that. Still its not working............

    Any Idea?

Have you also added the hostname (english) in the hosts file? The file is found in this path: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

    Hi Jivan

What happens if you just click the /english.aspx right next to the text "link to document" what url do you then get? And could you post it in here perhaps?

    /Jan
