I have an umbraco 4.5.1 website. I have created a custom section that is using a modified version of the Content Maintenance package which automatically searches for a specific node type when you enter the section and displays the results in the right hand window.

The custom section also shows the standard content tree on the left hand side which means that when you click on one of the results in the right hand panel then it refreshs the content tree to show exactly where the node is in the tree and also in the right hand section opens up the node so that you can edit it (just like it would if you clicked on a node in the Content section).

This all works great apart from because the new version of umbraco remembers where you were in a section then the user cannot make the custom section search again after they have already clicked on one of the results. I have used this custom section on older version of Umbraco and it is fine because each time you click on the section item it will run the search again.

Is there anyway to make one section not cache where you were so that each time the user clicks on the section icon they get the search results?
