    I am looking to provide member features on my site. I have a registration form working on the frontend but I need to add features to be able to edit account, profile, create nodes etc.

    I have tried a few modules but cannot get any of them to work. Are there any projects best suited for this?

    Not sure which packages you have already looked at.  Have to seen the ClientArea starter-kit?
