    Can we change the url link in umbraco ?

    I have couple of documents that i am referencing to in my webpages. The pdf's are located at something like 

    http://xyz.com/webpagecontent/operations/reference/page.pdf

    this is the link it shows when i open the pdf on a new page. Is there a way that i can change it to something smaller and meaningful ? Or should i upload the pdfs into media folder to keep it short ?
