I was wondering if anyone has successfully used Tim Geyssen's Xtra Star Rating package on Umbraco 4.7.1.1 (or any of the recent versions)? I know the package is fairly old so there may be compatibillity issues, but when installing it on this version, updating the restExtension.config or the xsltExtension.config results in all the other macros on the site breaking.
It did however successfully create the table in the database.
Ok I fixed this first error by removing the preceding ' /bin/ ' from the extension path in both files... now all the macros are back. Clicking a star now fires the custom error message though...
Ahh it seems to be ok now. Changed the uniqueID attribute to [#PageID]....for some reason having this named as something else only broke the control in Firefox, the other browsers were ok but were rating all pages based on its document type alias.
Xtra Star Rating Package on Umbraco 4.7.1.1
Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone has successfully used Tim Geyssen's Xtra Star Rating package on Umbraco 4.7.1.1 (or any of the recent versions)? I know the package is fairly old so there may be compatibillity issues, but when installing it on this version, updating the restExtension.config or the xsltExtension.config results in all the other macros on the site breaking.
It did however successfully create the table in the database.
Any help on this is appreciated.
Cheers
