Need help for creating custom package using .net user controls

Can anybody help me to understand the step by step procedure to create custom package in umbraco using .net user controls rather than Xslt or rajor? I have already created custom poackages in dotnetnuke but yet not find any way to create the same in umbraco.

Depending on what you want to build you might not be able to completely escape XLST or Razor when building a package for Umbraco, but these blog posts came in handy for me:
- Tim Geyssens has a number of really useful posts on his blog for custom data types - http://www.nibble.be/?cat=25
- Mike Taylor's blog shows how to build a .NET data type using existing ones in Umbraco - http://umbraco.miketaylor.eu/2011/02/10/creating-a-custom-data-editor-setting-type/
