I have a very urgent issue where client cant access the backOffice anymore using V4.7.2.
After login the loading keeps on going over and over again and cant even LogOut. We tried rebooting the server and even the application pool but still not working. On the other hand the front end is working just fine. Tried to log on with another username, same issue.
Guessing you already tried other browsers / clearing cache? You might also try clearing the ClientDependency cache.
Try running Fiddler while logging into the backoffice and see if you get any 500 errors back. If you do, check the inspectors to get the Raw data which might return an error that would give us a hint.
Just got it working back again, turns out our Admin has restricted access to the backOffice. To be more precise reducing the URL length for both backOffice and Fron End !....

Hi Fuji,
Guessing you already tried other browsers / clearing cache? You might also try clearing the ClientDependency cache.
Try running Fiddler while logging into the backoffice and see if you get any 500 errors back. If you do, check the inspectors to get the Raw data which might return an error that would give us a hint.
Has anything changed on the install lately?

Last time this happened to us... JavaScript was disabled on the browser. I know, I know. But... can you check?
Is it for one client, or many? Is it for one browser, or many?
Then, as Tom said, run with Fiddler to see what happens exactly...
Hi Tom,
Just got it working back again, turns out our Admin has restricted access to the backOffice. To be more precise reducing the URL length for both backOffice and Fron End !....
Thanks for getting the reply though.
