    How to add a dashboard with MVC in 4.10+

    Hey,

    does anyone know how to make a dashboard page with MVC in Umbraco 4.10 / 4.11.

    I'm interested in this also (was just posting a message and saw this as a similar post).

    Did you find out any more information or have an answer.

    Looking at the MVC documentation, I'm learning towards using a plugin based surface controller but my issue is that these are designed for placing on existing templates/master so im not sure what I should place this on for a dashboard item.

    Otherwise, I'm thinking going down a pure MVC approach by segregating my functionality into an area register the area on application start up.

    Be interested to know if you got any further with this.

    HI All,

    Backoffice is still webforms. MVC is (only) for front-end of the website.

    I think ya can do what ya ask with MVC. I dug out this blog.
