Just want to throw this out there for someone much smarter than me... also maybe it could be a commercial type add-on. My company uses picoSearch for some client sites. The biggest compelling reason is the ability to see the top searches and to also assign specific pages to specific searches, etc.

i am not even sure how this would be done, but i bet someone here does ;)
