Unfortunately this isn't a 'Issuu package' as I don't have the skills (i'm a designer) to make such a package :-)
But an idea for a new package, which could be super usefull for showing documents (pdf, word, ptt) on umbraco websites. They just resently released an api for remote uploading, deleting, managing documents.
I'll be more than happy to help with what ever I can, such as desired functionality, design, graphics etc.
I hope one of you awesome umbraians will pick up this idea :-)
I have implemented issuu with umbraco but never made it to a package to upload as my company preferred that I didn't presumably because it took quite a bit of work.
Either way I'm quite happy to give some pointers, although it was quie a while ago now and I've gone lots in between so can't completely remember.. But basically I created a custom data type.. following the examples at http://www.nibble.be (although they needed chaning abit).
Issuu package
Hi all,
Unfortunately this isn't a 'Issuu package' as I don't have the skills (i'm a designer) to make such a package :-)

Cheers, horsted
I have just been working with issuu and implementing it in an umbraco installation for a client..
Do you think there is still a call for this?
Hi Bex,
I for sure could still use such a package :-)
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help...
Thanks in advance!
Hi Bex, do you have a package for Issuu or some pointers you could share please?
Hi
I have implemented issuu with umbraco but never made it to a package to upload as my company preferred that I didn't presumably because it took quite a bit of work.
Either way I'm quite happy to give some pointers, although it was quie a while ago now and I've gone lots in between so can't completely remember..
But basically I created a custom data type.. following the examples at http://www.nibble.be (although they needed chaning abit).
this one: http://www.nibble.be/?p=62 and a variation of this one: http://www.nibble.be/?p=51 (as they don't actually match)
I then followed the ISSUU API examples.
If you have some specific questions I can try answer them, but I'm having trouble remembering exactly how I started!
