    MVC Forum and Umbraco

    Hi,

My goal is to use the excellent MVC Forum and Umbraco in the same solution.

The forum will be located in umbracofolder/forum or something, but my challenge it to merge the two membershipproviders. And get the two applications run in the same domain.

    Have anyone done something similar?

    - It's difficult to search for a solution because of the very describing name 'MVC Forum' :)

    Best regards
    Kim

Try googling for YAF (Yet Another Forum) & Umbraco integration. This is the forum people have used before. I believe someone did a talk about this in a previous Umbraco conference.

We've done a YAF integration including membership, wasn't the cleanest solution to be honest.

    Hi Ianhoughton and Rich,

    Thank you for your replies!

I was recommanded MVC Forum by Umbraco HQ, but YAF could also be an option - thank you anyways :)

    Best regards
