Keep content structure the same as media structure
The idea of this project is to help manage media and content especialy on large sites by keeping media folders the same structure as the content folder structure.
The idea is to keep media folder nodeid tied to a content folderid. When content is moved or created have the media folders update or copy to match the content structure. If content folder nodeId's are copied or deleted then clone the media folder nodeId's to match the new content structure and update the links in the content folders bodytext to match the new media folder nodeId's.
Create a tab under the content folder nodeId to show "associated" media under the associated media nodeId for with a direct link to the media folder.
Keeping with a structure makes it easier to manage media dependancies and help reduce orphan media that may exist in the database but not used or linked to a content. Also this helps reduce the creation of cross dependancies on content to media by copying the media.
