Custom Section - a few problems with Umbraco v6.0.2

Hello, I have never made a custom section before. I can easily get the custom section to show in umbraco, the problem is with the tree and view, I cannot seem to find ANY code that will actually work in my custom section and populate the tree or view.

Can anybody redirect me to some source code that works on Umbraco v6.0.2, because I can have searched all over the internet, a little pointer would be nice.

    Have tried this code: http://www.nibble.be/?p=71
I have tried other code examples too - I know this is an outdated tutorial but is there something wrong with the code or am I just plain dumb and can't follow the two steps that should still be the same in this version? (Copy the assembly (CustomUmbracoSection.dll) to the \bin directory and Make a ‘custom’ directory in \umbraco and copy the editCustom.aspx page to \umbraco\custom directory)

    Thank you.

Just found another great article on same blog explaining how to create page for  your custom section: http://abrissirba.wordpress.com/2013/01/11/tabs-in-umbraco-back-office-section/ .

Together with http://abrissirba.wordpress.com/2012/12/09/custom-section-in-umbraco-back-office/ mentioned in my previous post makes good tutorial for back-end extensions and it works on Umbraco v6.

    Hope this will help someone.
