    what is macro???

    Hello

    I'm begginer in umbraco,I wanna know what does it mean "MACRO"?

    and what are  we do with macro???

    A macro is a encapsulation for usercontrols, xslt files, ...

    Through the macro you can use the encapsulled item in a template/richtextarea ...

    In a macro you can set caching, use, parameters etc
