    Publish Website

    Hi my friend!!

    I create a website in my pc (Localhost) with Umbraco. now i want publish this website in server.

    my question:

    How do i move my website to server for publish?

    must do i install umbraco in server or only move some file from my pc to server?? which files??

    Hi Mohammed and welcome to Our,

    I think if you following these steps you will be good.

    1. Ftp over to the remove website and copy the whole website
    2. Connect to your local database with management studio and create a .bak file of your database.
    3. Upload the .bak file to the database server.
    4. Restore that database
    5. Review connection strings in web.config

    I hope this will help you to get your site online.

    about database Ok, i understand!

    but about:

    plese explain.

    Do I have to move all folders (in picture) to server or only some of them????
