    Is it possible to create a custom datatype in MVC (not usercontrol)?

    Hi,

    I know I can create datatypes by creating asp.net usercontrols. Was wondering if it's possible to do that using MVC (a controller, maybe SurfaceController? And razor views...).

    If not, will this maybe be added? Umbraco 7? Umbraco 7.x?
