When updating my package it comes into the package tree twice
Hey there :)
Ive just created my first package, but when i install the new version its being installed besides the other one.
Im using the same "package" when im creating version 1.1 just changed some text and urls, and ofc updated some files. But on install its added as second "uRouteMeUp" package, instead of updating the old one.
Good to see you made your first package - #h5yr :)
The reason why it appears twice in the package tree is because a new entry is made in the /app_data/package/installed/installedPackages.config file. It's been like this forever I think.
Don't know if it can be addressed using a package action for instance.
Just i see when im updating stuff like ucomponents or some of the other packages they do not come in the list twice, so i was curious about what script i should throw inside :)
Hmm, I usually see more than one uComponents folder when I do upgrades? But don't know if they found a way of dealing with that i latest versions though. If they have it's a matter of looking through the source code to figure out how they do it I think :)

Is some script needed ?
