My blog4umbraco install seems to be misbehaving. When I create a blogpost node under the blog node, the date folders get created. Year and month folders get created ok but the day folder and the blogpost node get listed twice in the tree. However, each has been created only once - both day folders and both blogpost nodes have the same nodeid.
I've seen this on previous versions as well (haven't used it on the 4.1 beta - I've once seen this when used in combo with umbImport), so there's some issues with this/that or both. For that reason, I've switched over to using Autofolders and building the blog functionality myself.
May need to check whether somethings gets logged in the umbracoLog table?

I've previously seen this behaviour on the Umbraco 4.1 beta, is that perhaps what you're using?
I don't think I'd have to explain that the beta is not something you'd want to use to build production sites on.. ;-)
