I am creating a custom section for an admin role. The admin is essentially a Manager who will manage all their employees. They would be adding personal information related to the employee i.e. Name, address, email, salary etc on a custom asp .net form.
What i would like is to be able to have the same functionality for an EMPLOYEE so that they could log on using their email address using the same URL as the admin but without admin rights and then view only their own info.
How could i proceed with this? I know how to create a custom section but not sure how to go about it thereafter?

You are on the right road. Create new custom section in Umbraco and then restrict rights for that section in Users section.
