In a custom section I have created a tree where it's nodes have access to the umb:codearea. I have created some buttons in an above panel where upon click certain predefined text is added to the current text. However I can only add this text to the end of the codeareas text, and I would like to be able to add the text to the current caret position.

Any of you got an idea on how to do this :)
