Keen to hear any Case Studies/Arguments for and against extending Umbraco for use as a small CRM-Client Portal Application.
I'm very much on the fence between building an entirely bespoke system or extending a lot of the out-of-the-box functionality already within Umbraco, mainly a nice user friendly interface and membership functionality.

Might be worth getting in touch with the folks at GrowCreate http://growcreate.co.uk/blog/pipeline-crm-for-umbraco/ (they just blogged about this last week)
