We have a requirement to allow back office editors to search for items in the Media section. We're looking for the same back office search functionality that is available by default for content items.
Is this possible? We only require searching on the image/file name, not within the file.
We also notice that when inserting images via the RTE, the "Filter" dialogue only searches items within the currently selected folder. Can this be extended to search across all media items?
As far as I can tell, the only difference between Media searching and Content searching is that Media searching only looks at files in the current folder, rather than searching all sub-folders as well. This minor difference is frustrating for myself and content editors who like to organize media into several sub-folders.
