I'm looking for some advice, guidance, tutorials to look at etc regarding the following.
Scenario:
We have produced a website that authenticates against a 3rd party provider. The client the website was for has another website, it's not umbraco but it uses the same 3rd party authentication provider. Behind that website the basis of a single sign on system. They want to be able to log into their main site and in turn be signed into the new Umbraco site.
So effectively single sign on cross site and cross domain.
So, my questions are....
Is this possible? My assumption is yes please tell me if I'm wrong.
The next question is how would advise going about implementing this? What sort of thing do I need to query the 3rd party about in order to begin setting this up.
Single sign on implementation is new to me so I'm looking for any guidance that you wonderful Umbracians can give me!
