    Char limit for RTE?

    Hi all,

Is there a way of customising the Rich Text Editor to have a character/word limit? I have found a package that creates a textbox multiple with a char limit but really need the RTE in this instance.

    Thanks!

    Emma

    Hi Emma,

Maybe you could use this https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/kraftvaerkmaxlength/ and then extend it so it does what you needed it to do.

You can find the source code here for the project. https://github.com/KraftvaerkAarhus/MaxLengthPropertyEditor

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

    Hi Ben,

I don't think I needed to use it in the end... I looked into Dennis' suggestion though.
