    XSLT Vs Razor Navigation

    What is best to use for Navigation?? XLST or Razor??

    This really is just a matter of preference and how comfortable you are with either C# or XSLT. There is hardly any performance difference, but if you look closely Razor is slightly (milliseconds) slower than XSLT.

    So it will be better for me to make my navigation in XSLT since am building a website of approx 150 pages??

    Hi Fuji,

    Like Sebastiaan says, it's a close call - best advice is to just try it. Navigation is very easy in Umbraco; Whether you choose Razor or XSLT, there are built-in templates to get you started. Just try to build the same navigation with both, and see which one you're more comfortable modifying.
