    Create a forum in Umbraco (urgent !)

    Hello!

    I have to do my final paper (a website for a football club) in Umbraco. I have to hand it over in 1month and I'm a bit stressed.

    I've finished all but there's a last thing to do: I have to create a forum where you have to register first. Than you see all the topics. You have also the possibility to create a new topic. When you enter a topic, you can see all the posts and you can comment them.

    I can't use the package nForum for some reasons.

    Can anybody help me? It's urgent and very important to me.

    I'm glad to hear you again )) It's really complexity task to create the forum. Without package it's long term task.

    Is there another package that I could use?

    Maybe I start to build a log in? How could I proceed?

    I can programm things like that in PHP :S  Umbraco and C# is new for me ..

    Hey Kristina,

    It's a little tough to integrate a forum, but totally possible. We've done it with YAF.NET

    What version of Umbraco are you using?

    I wrote a guide about integrating YAF in Umbraco once. It is a bit outdated but it can be a good starting point.

    I see there is also a package available. But I don't if it will work and fit your needs

    I guess it totally depends on your requirements but I hope it provides food for thought anyhow...
