When I use the Umbraco interface to create a new Template, I get a .cshtml file. Is there a way to make .vbhtml the default? If I rename the .cshtml file it creates to .vbhtml (and fix the code to be VB syntax), the code no longer displays in the editor window in Umbraco.Thoughts?ThanksDavid
I believe that it is suppored (and was mentioned in Shannon's Codegarden 2013 session) however I do not know of a way of making it default when you create a new template. So I would suggest you create a feature request for this on the Umbraco YouTrack at http://issues.umbraco.org then hopefully it will be added as a config setting.

I can be wrong, but I don't think vbhtml is supported at the moment.
Could be. I cannot find confirmation of that however. And I find various posts indicating it might be supported:
