Multi-Node Tree Picker issue in V6.1.1

Using the Umb Core Multi-Node Tree Picker (MNTP) in an Umb V6.1.1 MVC site. There is a left hand tree which expands correctly, but only a thin grey bar on the right hand side.  As soon as I try to drag an item from the left hand tree to the right hand side, the right hand side shows a red warning saying "Item not allowed here".

The MNTP is set up as:-
    Node selection type: Node Picker
    Start node ID: Home
    XPath filter type: Enable
    XPath Filter: (left empty)
    Maximum node selections:10
    Minimum node selections: 0
Show tooltip for selected item: checked
Date as CSV or XML: CSV
Pixel height of the tree control box: 300

I've tried re-publishing the whole site and also, just in case it mattered, ensured that the document type for the page with the control in it, allows the selected nodes as child nodes in it's structure settings.

    Cheers,

    Craig

    Hi Craig,

I'm pretty sure you just need to set the XPath filter type to "Disable" then it will work. Also might be helpful to take a look at the documentation for MNTP

Let me know if that works?

    Thanks,

    Jeavon

I just tried it before I saw your post and yes, you're absolutely right.  The set up looks like it's for XSLT, using XPath. As I never use XSLT it sort of put me off.

    All working now.

    Thanks

    Craig

    Hi Craig,

Great, actually it's not just for XSLT although obviously XPath is part of XSLT. If you have a look at that documentation link there is a section called "XPath expression" where it descirbes how this setting can be used and it can be very useful.

    Thanks,

    Jeavon
