Are there a package for member login? Or a guide? I have tried the Standard MVC Website package before (http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/standard-website-mvc) and it works great, but it's not for Umbraco 6.1 yet, and this is a addon to an existing 6.1 website.
I would recommended you take the bits you need from Warrens CWS source code as it has a complete Mvc membership system including controllers, models and views etc
