I've just upgraded a site to 4.5.2. Now all the xslt files seems not to return any values at all. The xslt-parsing works, but everything just seems to be empty.
I've tried to create a standard xslt Breadcrumb navigation, but it does not return any data as well.
What is your useXmlLegacySchema settings in umbracoSettings.config. umbraco v4.5.2 uses a new xml schema requiring an update to all of your xslt (unless you set useXmlLegacySchema to true).
So, if useXmlLegacySchema=true -> no updates to your xslt requires, otherwise update your xslt to reflect the new xml schema.
Can find more info on "upgrading" the xslt's on the wiki page. (Bit down the article, you'll find useful info on xslt upgrades)
it had nothing to do with the xml schema, I've tried the abovementioned and it changed nothing at all.
I solved the issue in a very very strange way: I installed the "Runaway" site to test if it would work, and weirdly enough my own problematic site started working after installing "Runaway".
xslt parsing not working
Hi,
I've just upgraded a site to 4.5.2. Now all the xslt files seems not to return any values at all. The xslt-parsing works, but everything just seems to be empty.
I've tried to create a standard xslt Breadcrumb navigation, but it does not return any data as well.
All data seems to be in the Content tree.
I've followed the upgrade instructions.
What could possibly be wrong?
