OK am displaying some nodes randomly and want to know if you can then make it so that certain nodes do not display before/after each other?
I could be wrong but this doesn't sound like it is possible in pure xslt, you might have to write an extension function that sorts the data for you.

xsl:sort select="random" with exceptions?
