Hi all,

I already have a product catalogue and now I've found that each product must be assign in one or more categories + one must be able to search a product by category/brand name/product name..

I already have mu product node under my content tree node like this

Content
  default
     About Us
     Product
         Product 1
         Product 2 etc..

the editor must be able to create categories...so I was thinking of something like this

Content
   default
   About Us
   Product
        Product 1
        Product 2
   Category *hide this in navigation
        Category 1
        Category 2 

and add a property in my Product Item document type using the ultimate picker to pick one or more categories from this node.

The categories must only be kept/assign for search purposes.

Now my problem is I don't know hoe to use the ultimate picker + secondly how to do a search with drop downs and retrive the stored category of each product.

Am i on the right track using this solution?
