I'm having trouble creating the macro parameters in my 4.8.0 installation.
After creating the XSLT script (or installing from a package), I go to the Developer->Macros-><my-macro>->Parameters to add parameters. I've done this many times before on other installations, but the problem now is that the dropdown to choose a type is empty (only "Choose..." is listed.
The same thing happens when I install a package with macros that should contain parameters. There are no parameters created with the macro.

To answer my own question:
Turned out the cmsMacroPropertyType table in DB was empty. No idea why, but I added the properties manually, and problem was solved.
