    Hi Kannandesikan,

When I started working with XSLT in Umbraco, I searched for information about XSLT on these sites.

    http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/xslt

On this page you will find a lot of documentation on XSLT in Umbraco.

Another good place to start is with the Umbraco TV, on this page there are some free videos, that shows how to work with different stuff in the Umbraco system, includeing XSLT.

    http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/umbraco-fundamentals/xslt-primer.aspx

    http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/umbraco-fundamentals/more-xslt.aspx

    http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/umbraco-fundamentals/xslt-in-umbraco-45.aspx

Just have in mind that from version 4.5, they added a new xml schema, which means that probably it is the last video link about XSLT is most interesting. But there are also videos about basic XSLT.

It also means you may in your search on the forum find XSLT examples that have to be rewritten a bit to work with the new schema.

In addition to videos about XSLT, there are also videos on how working with Umbraco, such as to create new content pages and new properties on the pages, etc.

    http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/introduction-to-umbraco.aspx

I hope these sites can help you to learn the way to work with XSLT in Umbraco, and how to work with the Umbraco backend.

    /Dennis

I'm just going to throw http://pimpmyxslt.com/articles/ into the mix - this is a ressource for some hardcore XSLT, where mr. XSLT (aka Chriztian Steinmeier) shares a lot of cool and more advanced XSLT stuff.

If you have any questions about XSLT related issues when doing Umbraco development please don't hesitate to ask for help here on the forum.

    /Jan
