on my template I have specially reserved place for searchbox but it didn't work ed because I had to first install the XSLT search utility. I have downloaded and installed it from offical website in few clicks BUT I can't find ANY clear step-by-step instructions how to set-up this utility in order to work. I have also downloaded PDF file which should be used for first time installation but there is no step-by-step explanation and it is very frustrating! I never had these kind of problems with Joomla CMS.
