I am trying to create a simple library as follows:
policy document
Early years policy
disabilty policy
education policy
on the parent node policy documents I have a marcro that filters all the policy documents in a media folder, but I want to further filter from the same macro - if policy document is category 1 publish/display on child node 1. If category 2 publish/display on child node 2 and so on. Is this possible and if so how do I write it?
To be sure I understand you correct... You want a page called "Policies". That page should list the childnodes of the "Policies" page...? The list must of cause only show the nodes that are published and not hidden.

What I want to know is do I need to write a separate xslt or can I have one xslt on the parent page that says when current page is early childhood list all policy and early childhood documents from the media folder? or if document contains the category policy and the theme early childhood then display this on childnode 1?
