Using Umbraco Blog as a subsite of existing site, using host-header feature - xslt errors
Hi All,
I'm trying to use the umbraco blog as part of a site I have already created. My page is matthewhetton.com (its my resume), and I wanted my blog to appear at matthewhettong.com/blog or something like that.
My initial attempt, after installing the blog, has been to give the bog website a relevant host header. This works to a point, but all the xslt files then throw parsing errors. The errors are because the $currentPage is actually referencing the matthewwhetton.com website rather than the blog website.
Is there any way I can work around this, or is the simplest solution just going to be building my resume site into the blog site?

It's probably safer to use a sub-domain, using http://blog.matthewhettong.com should allow you to run two sites on completely different platforms.
Thanks, that makes far more sense!!
